JUST FOUND JOHN MOORE WAS RECRUITED IN IRELAND IN EARLY 1800`S

ANY IDEAS AS TO HOW I CAN FIND MORE INFO. HIS SON MARRIED IN DENVER NORFOLK. HIS MARRIAGE CERT ONLY GIVES SOLDIER, IRELAND,

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Whose marriage cert says "soldier,Ireland" ?
John's, or his son's? What was his son's name?

No, probably not.
The father is stated to be a labourer, on this record:

George Moore
in the Norfolk, England, Church of England Marriages and Banns, 1754-1936
Name: George Moore
Gender: Male
Marriage Age: 24
Birth Date: abt 1844
Marriage Date: 29 Nov 1868
Marriage Place: Denver, Norfolk, England
Father: John Moore
Spouse: Sarah Ann Johnson

And in various censuses, his father is shown to be born c1815 in Norfolk, so couldn't have joined the army in the early 1800s.




So far, I don't see any other marriage record in Denver for any man with father John.

What record have you found to support the idea that John was recruited in early 1800s ?
