Richard Whyte, birth 20/05/1890 death 19/03/986 Married 1921 Lilian Mary Sibyl Smith. Lived in Andover Hampshire. 1917 to 1945. Seaforth Highlanders, Air Commodore in RAF. OBE 1945.
Richard’s father also called Richard Whyte. No information for Richard Whyte Senior other than he was given a writing box with the following inscription:-
RICHARD WHYTE, given by the teachers and scholars of Craigs School Stirling on his leaving for Edinburgh January 25th 1878
