I am looking for information about John Angus Burnside who is described as "an examiner of small arms ammunition" at Woolwich in the 1901 census. Presumably part of the Ordnance Corps. He died in 1939 and on his death certificate he is described as an "overlooker at Royal Arsenal (retired)" I would assume he was still active during WW1. Does anyone know where I could get any records. Are there any pension records. I really need to find his date of birth. |
