I am trying to find out about the military service of mygrandmother's brother, Horace Goodspeed born in 1899 in Hoxton in London. I have been told that he served in the First World War but no one left in the family knows anymore than that. As he was only 15 when war broke out he may have lied about his date of birth. I know very little about him but I do know that he married an Alice Davis in 1921 in Camberwell and they had 3 daughters. I think he may have been a policeman at some stage. I would be really grateful for any help anyone can give. Thank you in advance.
