George Chatfield was found to be a deserter from the army (Shorncliffe).

Court/Trial date: 19 March 1869
Place: Shorncliffe
Regiment: 73 Foot
Reference number: WO 86/18

Does anyone have access to information of this case and what happened to George? George changed his surname (+ children) around 1880 and his wife also changed her Christian name!!
