His first ship was Ganges II, which he joined on 10/03/1916 as a Boy (class 2), and he was discharged from Victory I (and joined RFR) on 22/04/1925, by which time he was an AB.

He was on lots of ships in between those two.

EDIT:
On a later page, he was on the "Hood" in August 1925.

EDIT again - on an even later page, he was on "Impregnable" in 1928

I don't see George in 1911, but as the RN Register says his first service date was 15 March 1912, perhaps he was at a training base.

He's on a number of trees on Ancestry saying he married Florence Elizabeth Littlewood 15 April 1918, Holy Trinity Church, Richmond, Surrey and had 2 sons and 2 daughters.

George and Florence had four children, all born in Richmond. 1920, 1924, 1926, and 1930.
