Memorial one St. James' Church, Aylestone Park, Leicester

Notes PD. He was the son of William and Ada Flude of Leicester. The 10th April 1917 edition of the Leicester Mercury published the following under the heading, 'IN MEMORIAM.' FLUDE – Sacred to the memory of our only son, Pte. Percy Flude. 1st/4th Leicester’s, killed in action April 10th 1916. Rest, calmly rest, for thou thy part has played. In this great war, and death thy hand has stayed. Thy work is done, thou’st laid thine armour down. Fought the good fight, and gained the eternal crown. The War Diary for the 8th April records. At 5.00pm the Battn left huts at CAMBLAIN L’ABBE to proceed to relieve 5th Battn LINCOLNSHIRE REGT accompanied by cookers, Battn had tea north of BOIS DES ALLEUX. Relief completed by 10.15pm. Night very quiet. No further entries were made in the War Diary until the 12th April.

he is on the Commonwealth WAR Graves Commission site CWGC. He was killed
on the 10th April aged 24. Buried in...

Hi everyone
Just found a relative of my husbands who died in WW1. How do I find which cemetery he is in from this information : Theatre of war was France and Flanders. Died April 1916. He was aged 24. His service number is Leicestershire Regiment 1/4 battalion 3313.
