Hi.I am looking for Timothy O'Brien who was discharged from the Irish guards in 1959 and believed to be living in the Willesden, Hendon areas of London or somewhere close. if anyone knows him please contact me. If anyone has access to military search records I would appreciate if you could look for me as I've spent a fortune on subscriptions and getting nowhere. His service number was 22779754 . Date of birth around 1930 |

His military records would still be with the MOD. Unless you are a direct descendent, you may not be able to purchase a copy unless he has died some while ago. |

Service records for personnel who left the army after around 1920 are still with the MOD and are not online. |

Thanks for the replies. I have been unable to find a death certificate for him anywhere in England or Ireland. Without that I can't access his military records from GOV.UK and the Irish guards archivist can only find a discharge record for 1959. |
