Jethro Bithell WW1

Over 70% of WW1 documents about UK soldiers were destroyed in WW2 bombing.

I have documents for paternal grandfather in WW1 and only a medal card for maternal one. :-(

Yours may be one that was destroyed.

Thank you greyghost, KathleenBell and Chris Ho it seems strange that apart from enlistment year and Regiment I can't find any service records for him.
I have his academic record, his birth, baptism and 2 marriages.
Oh well have to continue searching

Hi trying to find WW1 information on Private Jethro Bithell b: 1878 Hindley Lancashire he enlisted in 1916 with Royal Sussex Regiment. Have no other details for him.
