	Pamela, I identified my photo by contacting the Army Museum and the gent there told me to email him a copy and he'd try to identify the uniform and era. He did so quite quickly, mentioning Russian braid and sharp shooters medal among other items on the uniform. He pinned it down to a decade which then enabled me to search to see which ancestors I had in the military at that time and, hey presto, I identified my grandfather's cousin who died in a military hospital right in the middle of that decade.
