Further military records give his full name as George Joseph Thomas Curtis. He sailed with his unit in October 1915. In May 1916 he received a gunshot wound to the humerus. He was admitted to the Hammersmith Military Hospital, London then was sent back to Canada on Nov. 1916 aboard the SS Grampian. |
