My mother died in 1983. Shortly before her death there was some coverage of a Naval wreck on TV. I took very little notice of this at the time. I am not sure but I think a submarine sunk during WW1 was the subject covered, she was very interested because her uncle was lost on this ship. I have tried searching the names of her uncles on GR military records with no success. Can anyone suggest the best way to research this ?
