Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 284 Send Message	My Grandfather Stanley Robson was a muscian in the RAF in WWII. I have death certificate of his daughter and it states in 1943 he was L.A.C 920661 Royal Air Force (professional Musician). I paid a fee on War Forces Records and it is only giving me information about people who died in actionand Grandad survived the War.Somebody told me that I have to apply to the M.O.D. for the records, is this true? 	Yes, that's true. The records for service men & women after 1920 are still with the MOD. They will cost £30 for a copy and may take a number of months to arrive. This is the link for obtaining UK service records: http://www.veterans-uk.info/service_records/service_records.html
