39th. Field Ambulance RAMC Mesopotamia WW1.

Seeking any information on the 39th Field Ambulance part of the 13th Western Division which saw action in Mesopotamia during WW1. My grandfather Pte. 86751 A. (Albert) Hawkins enlisted 1/12/1915 & was demobbed 22/5/1919. His specialty training was a "Mental attendant" probably due to his civilian employment as an asylum attendant prior to the war. |

Many thanks for the info . It will take me some time to go through all though all those images. The 2010 posting on ancestry as well as that contained on the RAMC site was done by me some time ago. Still hopeful that some new members may have signed up since then & could be in possession of new information or photos. |
