Member Since: April 2012 Posts: 319 Send Message	I would like to purchase my late fathers WW2 Army records. Please would someone tell me how I go about that? Would I be correct that it will cost about £30 and will take several months to receive them? Thank you for any advise.

	It tells you here how to apply:- https://www.gov.uk/guidance/requests-for-personal-data-and-service-records You are correct in thinking they cost £30 (although if your mother is still alive she can apply for them free of charge). Sometimes they take quite a long time but it just depends on how busy they are. Kath. x
