hi, any one any ideas how to find out the name of the prison camp my mother was interned in? she's lost too many marbles for me to ask her, and as kids we weren't really interested :-( |

thanks for the suggestions. yea, she is now in a care home, but to be truthful, she thought she was in flat in amsterdam. now however her memory has just about gone. she used to think her daughter was her sister now the staff have to tell her that daughter has come to see her. she hasn't been coherent for sometime so now she spends her days singing to the budgies in the communal lounge. |

Bill....I think you need to be looking at the Batavia Trials...it will take some referencing and cross referencing to possibly get any idea of which Camps the women were sent to..it doesn't made for "pleasant" reading...strangely enough it appears only the Dutch did something about addressing the situation post WW2..... |
