Does anyone out there know of a Duncan Gillies Crawford that served as a MARINE with the ROYAL MARINES. He would have been with the MARINES around 1950's. He was born in 1929 in Scotland. Any assistance appreciated. |

Bob - try searching all members trees to see if he is listed. Then send a message to the tree owner. |

thanks for your answers-yes, we have tried searching trees, but as of yet we have been unsuccessful. And, yes, we are the ones looking for my wife's father, that was in the Brighton area at some stage. We have tracked a Duncan Gillies Crawford b.1929 and believed to have passed away in or around 2005, we have sent for his death certificate to see if there are any living relatives but have not received the documents at this stage. |

Once you have his DC, you might try to order his military records, just to check if he was in the right area at the right time. Access rules are quite strict - your application may be rejected |
