Admitted 23 Oct 1905, address 1 Portland Place. Previously at Bere Heath near Wareham. Left current school 8 Feb 1907 - "Family left the neighbourhood".

Seems to tie in with the other school records.

One thing to note is that the M Chilton on the earlier records may have been a guardian and not necessarily parent. On the records here the parent/guardian name is John - no other surname. So do we assume that John was a Daniels as nothing entered to the contrary?

Caroline, we can't be sure yet that all of the information is relevant - some of it is just "possibles" so we need whatever other information you can possibly get.

Here's an even earlier school record. Now this may well tie "M Daniels" to "M Chilton"

Could you clarify what family you found for him, and why dismissed? There was only one birth registered anywhere in the country in the timescale given for an exact match on "Edwin George Daniels".
