Hi, that was because I didn't find an online record with exact birthdate and Bridget's mother's maiden name - so I couldn't distinguish her from other Leary births as a member of the family of James and Bridget.
only this more general record type:
Name: Bridget Elizabeth Leary Date of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec 1914 Registration district: Dublin South Volume: 2 Page: 643 FHL Film Number: 101075
I think it's because the record is around the 100 yr mark, so exact date and mmn being withheld so the information can't be seen as a violation of date protection etc. Site probably a bit slow to add the extra info as the 100 year limit on births passes.

:-) Hello Kucinta. Many thanks for all your Invaluable Information on the History of the Leary Family. the Victorian /Edwardian Nineteen hundreds and onwards . The Question you asked . Ref to James Gerald Leary born 13th January 1904. As I am the Historian and keeper of my Ancestry and Family History . I can Answer that . This Is my Dear father ................. I am In receipt of 2 x photocopies of his Irish Birth Certificate . Which has an Anomaly !!!!!!!!!! As you pointed out . For some reason which I have never found out , and as you have rightly highlighted . His Mother ( My Grandmother Bridget Elizabeth Malone) . Is wrongly stated as Surname as Walsh ? Also another strange thing on the copies . On Category 3 . My fathers name does not appear to be Inserted. Only an X with four dots around it !!!!!!!!!!. It was corrected In 1981 by my Mother Mary Christina Leary . My Mum had my dads name Inserted . The year before my dad died 1982 . Hope this helps Regards Anthony Leary :-)

I found the family at 2, George Place, in the 1901 census. The names given in the military record seem to have been very loose!!!!
1901 England, Wales & Scotland Census
2, George Place, Bethnal Green, London, England James Leary Head Married Male 43 1858 Umbrella Maker Stepney, Middlesex, England Harriet Leary Wife Married Female 41 1860 - Stepney, Middlesex, England Harriet Leary Daughter Single Female 19 1882 Cloak Maker Mile End, Middlesex, England Emily Leary Daughter Single Female 17 1884 Laundress Limehouse, Middlesex, England Amelia Leary Daughter Single Female 14 1887 Tailoress London, England George Leary Son Single Male 10 1891 - Limehouse, Middlesex, England Ada Leary Daughter Single Female 6 1895 - Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England Albert Leary Son Single Male 4 1897 - Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England Alfred Leary Son Single Male 3 1898 - Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England Nelly Leary Daughter Single Female 0 1901 - Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England
Ada and George are there. Amelia could be known as Millie, which has then been broadened to 'Millicent'. I have no idea if the two Harriets approximate the the two 'LIllys', but suppose Emily could be 'Emma'. No idea which son is meant to be 'John' . :-S

Re wo97
Here's some other examples
This is an 1881 census for an Ada Leary - clearly not your guy's sister, though: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X3PF-3GH The impt bit here is: Affiliate Publication Number:RG11 Piece/Folio:365 / 103 Page Number:6
I cant't see the actual census image as I don't hace an Ancestry/FMP/GR sub., but Ancestry now includes that same info in their transcription, and I think at the end of the transcription, they have a line like: Source Citation: Class: RG11; Piece: 365; Folio: 103; Page: 6; Line: ; GSU roll: 1234567.
If I were to look at the image, just off the main image (below it, I think here) is the Public Record Office copyright slip, and written on that is the reference rg11/365 These PRO record #s were continued by the PRO's successor, the NA, so lets ook in their search engine:
http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/
I can search for rg11/365 and see: Reference: RG 11/365 Description: Registration Sub-District 10A Whitecross Street. Civil Parish, Township or Place: St Luke (5) Date: 1881
and in the footer: RG - Records of the General Register Office, Government Social Survey Department, and Office of Population Censuses and Surveys RG 11 - General Register Office: 1881 Census Returns LONDON - MIDDLESEX Registration District 13.HOLBORN RG 11/365 - Registration Sub-District 10A Whitecross Street. Civil Parish, Township or Place: St...
I could also search for rg11 - for you to try.
NB rg9-rg14 are the class #s for the census 1861-1911, and rg78 for the 1911 summary books 1841-1851 both got the Home Office code ho107. 1841 PRO refs have an extra element, a book #, and would look like ho107/123/4 - however you can't search for this, just for ho107/123, say. If I were interested in say 1841 piece #s for Co durham, I could do an advanced search for all of the words Durham & 1841 within ref ho107.

Same price for each - £3.30, but size varies: Download size approximately 152 MB Download size approximately 53 MB Download size approximately 11.5 MB

" The Chelsea Pensioners British Army service records (WO97) comprise more than 1 million records for men pensioned out of the British Army in the period 1760 to 1913. The pension records do not just relate to older men: soldiers were eligible for a pension after 12 years of service so relatively young men could be pensioned out. The connection with Chelsea Pensioners is that the pensions were administered through the Royal Hospital at Chelsea. The great majority of pensioned soldiers were "out-pensioners" and did not reside at the hospital itself. Most of these soldiers were born in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales; however, a significant proportion came from other parts of the British Empire.
The Royal Hospital, Chelsea, pensioners' discharge documents (WO121) comprise 246,977 images for 84,916 men for the period 1760 to 1887. This series is almost identical to some of the discharge documents in the Chelsea Pensioners British Army service records (WO97). The difference is that this series comprises bound volumes of the discharge documents, with the front page on the right hand side and the back page on the left hand side of the relevant image. It is possible that an ancestor's record runs over more than two pages as there are 246,977 images for 84,916 men.
What are the Chelsea Pensioners British Army Service Records ?
These records are of men pensioned out of the British Army 1760 to 1913. The connection with "Chelsea Pensioners" is that the pensions were administered through The Royal Hospital at Chelsea. The great majority of pensioned soldiers were "out-pensioners" and did not reside at the Hospital itself."

If your grandfather served and was eligible for an army pension that's simply what it refers to.
