It was WW1. Most of the records I've found are from WW2? He didn't serve in WW2, probably due to his age (he would have been 42) and also due to his ill health caused by injuries sustained during WW1. Thanks for the info

Was this in WW1?

There was a POW camp called Brandenburg Camp.

There is a searchable database at:-

I'm not sure how complete or useful it is.

My granda was a POW at Brandenburg Gate. I've googled it but can't find any reference to a POW camp? Does anyone have any links where I can find out more? Thanks. Tracy
