We believe my mother-in-law's uncle Henry Wilson was awarded the Croix de Guerre, but where do we search to find out more about it please ? He was born in South Shields in 1879 and enlisted as an 18 year old at the Royal Artillery until 1903, after which there is a gap until approx. 1914-18 - but we do not know where or when he served at that time. |

The Henry Wilson listed above (Gritty) was discharged from the RA 5th Oct 1903..he appears to have had a record of "Deserting" more than once....!! Cant find anything later.. |
