Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm trying to find information on a Joseph Dougherty / Doherty who was based at Kinmel Park Militia Camp near Rhyl in North Wales around 1942-1944. |

Is he someone's presumed father, or a known relative? What other details do you have of him? Did he survive the war? You could check for his name on the CWGC site |

Thank you for your advice. The problem is that nobody knows anything about this man except that he came from Kingston Upon Thames and was based at Kinmel Camp in North Wales in the early 1940's. His names was Joseph Doherty / Dougherty. |

Tricky situation especially as he may not have told his current family that he has another child. There is always the possibility that he has since died or is mentally incapacitated. |
