hi wondering if anyone could shead any light on this
I have just found my grandfathers active service testament which appears to be a bible. written inside the front cover is
lance corporal w t freeman 1797 w 4 KOYLI
gefangenenlager dulmen
I (unsure it could be 1) west group 2
1 coy 1B
Germany
it also says
from your loving auntie alice with love to willie
I have googled gefangenenlager dulmen and it seems to be a P O W camp
would this mean my grandfather was probably a P OW
