Member Since: November 2008 Posts: 10 Send Message	My Father was in the Royal Engineers serving in India and Burma 1942 to 1945. He was from Stoke-on-Trent in Staffordshire. I haven't got a number for him. Can anyone help. Many thanks Barbara.

	World War Two army records are not online. They are still with the MOD. Have a look here:- https://www.gov.uk/requests-for-personal-data-and-service-records They cost around £30 and can take quite some time to receive (up to a year). Kath. x

	If your mother is still alive she can order the records for free.
