Hi Everyone

I got in touch with the Anglo Danish Society in London, and after the holiday break a lady name Lisbeth sent me a word for word translation which was fantastic.
I can't thank everyone enough for there help and for the 70 year old mystery that is now solved.
My husband did receive the mouth organ and it is still in good condition.
Regards
Maureen :-) :-)

If you don't mind paying, how about a translation service such as

How about contacting http://www.anglo-danishsociety.org.uk/ The Anglo Danish Society?

What about the Danish Church in London - or any other one you can find?

Hi Kath

I did try but it is difficult as it is hand written and they have said I need someone who is able to read the handwritting as it is so complicated.

Can't help I'm afraid but have you tried using an online translation? :-

https://translate.google.co.uk/

It may not be as good as getting it translated by someone who is fluent in the language but it would give you an idea of what is written.

I have a letter that was posted to my father in law at the end of world war 2,

Is there anyone who can translate into english as we would love to know what it say.
My father-in-Inlaw died a few years ago but when he was in Denmark he lived with this family.
I will be able to copy this letter and send it to anyone who can help.
Thank you
Maureen
