can any one give me some advise please, on a 1901 census on my gran it states army captains wife under occupation, then under relationship to head a number, is this her husbands army number and if it is where can I find out his details from that, I am trying to see if this is my gran and granddad |

It doesn't look like an army number to me. Is this a Scottish census? If it is then there is no image to look at on Findmypast to double check. |

I thought its to long for an army number, I got that census on here, they were in Scotland at the time |

on the 1911 census for her and her husband James young they just said England, and married in Edinburgh in 1900, Mary young born 1880, and james young born 1878, I was trying to find them in 1901 to see if they had put where in England, there 3 children were all born in Edinburgh |
