Member Since: November 2004 Posts: 71 Send Message	Hello, Does anyone have any information on Daniel Hamilton Shields; in August 1945 (aged between c 25-35?) he was serving as a private in the 13th Holding Battalion in Herne Bay. He was on the permanent staff of the Regiment but I believe he left to go back to Civvy Street within a year. Any dates or info would be much appreciated. I assume he was a British national but have been unable to find any trace of him in B, M & D lists etc. Thank you, Geoff
