his army record states clearly the year of birth 1896 all my grandmas family have died as born in the late 1800s as where their partners any children they had were born in the early 20 s and 30 s and where sent out of London due to the bombing hence they have no memory of William carter thank you for any advise you have given and I will carry on contacting other much further extended family to see weather they have heard of him |

Do you have his marriage certificate??? Is his father named, and if so, what was it and what was the father's occupation? |

hi he was a Londoner as was my grandmother no next of kin mentioned or birth on any paper work I have I have his army certificate of service from 30/3/15 to24/8/35 when he was discharged and his trio medals with his name on the rim 1914/18 all my great aunts and uncles have passed away there are no living members of my family who knew William. |

yes tried trees we have his medals and paper work but we have no idea who his family was he died in 1944 my dad was moved out of London to live with family after being bombed out 14 times both my dad and his 2 brothers have died and there is no one else left alive in our family who knew him will keep checking other sites too, |

served in 1914/18 war then was discharged from army 26th august 1935 he married my grandmother in 1936 but was killed during the 2nd w w when a bomb dropped on the hospital he was in due to illness any one related to him out there |
