Martynsue, looking at that medal card, 15054 wasn't his roll no. It looks as if he served in two different regiments. The top line gives RE, Sapper, Regt No 304315 and the second Manchester Regt, Regt No 15054. ~The Roll No and Page are given further down the card. |

I know the 24th Manchester joined up with another reg during ww1,maybe this is were it came from as the 24th were volunteers, |
