Hi All
I am trying to find out weather the Ernest Mills in my tree born in Winchcombe Glos in 1889 is the Ernest that died in France on 23 July 1916 his SN was 2856
He was in 1st/5th Bn,Gloucestershire Regiment
I would like to know who his mother and father were

Birth Town - Stroud

Lived - Gloucester

For the Ernest that died in France 1916 a tree on Ancestry has his father as

Edward Charles Mills born 1875 Horsley

Mother, Annie Marie Pegler born 1864

Ernest Mills who died they have him born 1897 Horsley Gloucestershire. although his name is given as Ernest John Mills. So he does not tally with your Ernest born 1889


If you don't have access to Ancestry you can view these trees by going to http://www.mundia.com/gb/ you have to register but then you can contact the tree owner

Do you have him on 1911 census

Yes his parents are Raymond and Annie ,Ernest is on the 1911 census
in Winchcombe.
Born 1889 but i can't fine out when he died or where he went
