would anybody know or knew of Pte Jack(John) Sharp who had lived in York when joining up can't be sure wether Pioneer Corps,was his original choice but was certainly in the Pioneers 1944/5 He could have been posted north London during these two years then possibly moved on,born we think mid 1920s? Have his address in York, but have no service number, if I had this would reveal his service details for the duration, do not know wether he survived the war for he was never seen again after about July1945 maybe earlier,not a lot to go on but can anybody help?Brian |
