My Grandfather Alfred Clark was in the British Army in India and he transferred to the Indian Army. He was a Warrant Officer in Supply & Transport Corps, Bengal. |

Thank you so much, this I already knew as I have the census 1911 it was taken in India at the Barracks of the wives and children of serving men, so they were not in England as you thought. |
