I AM LOOKINHG FOR A MYSTERIOUS UNCLE PATRICK KELLY BORN 1919, GLENRAVEL, NEAR BALLYMENA, COUNTY ANTRIM N IRELAND. HIS NEAREST HALF SIBLING WOULD BE AROUND 6 WHEN WW2 STARTED, BUT SHE HAD NO RECOLLECTION OF HIM. WE SUSPECT HE MAY HAVE JOINED THE ARMED FORCES BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO START. CAN ANYONE HELP?

Have a look at the CWGC.org to see if the additional details given match up with your family.

Failing that, you'd need to apply for his service records as they aren't in the public domain. It will cost £30 and a very long wait. You would need his exact DOB to help winnow out the correct record, assuming he did serve in UK Forces.
