Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 9 Send Message	My Grt Uncle served with the Royal Navy and was 1 of 78 awarded the Naval General Service Medal with Persian Clasp for captures of ships in the Persian Gulf 1909 -1914. he was on HMS Miner in Oct 1913 with Capt Cuthbert Helsham Heath-Caldwell. He then went on to serve in WW1 on RIM Northbrook and Minto, HMS Fox, Vivid, Defiance and Bullfinch(awarded DSM). Would like to hear from anyone who has a relative that served the same.
