He was almost certainly born in England in the mid 1880's , yes, he was killed in the war.

Do you have some idea of birth place and birth year please?

Also, you mentioned the CWGC site, does that mean he was killed during the war?

I think you're out of luck, and that his records are amongst those destroyed in WWII.

"The British Army World War One Service Records are War Office (WO) records also known as the WO363 records and the ‘Burnt Documents.’ In 1940 there was a World War Two bombing raid on the War Office in London where the records were held. During this raid, a large portion (approximately 60 per cent) of the 6.5 million records was destroyed by fire. The surviving service records have become known as the ‘Burnt Documents’."

There was no service record for him on Ancestry that I could find, and they claim :

"This database contains the surviving service records of non-commissioned officers and other ranks who served in WWI and did not re-enlist in the Army prior to World War II. With the final release, this database now contains the entire service records collection."

Michael Cremin Royal Garrison Artillary is my man, born 1889/1890. He was from Cork City. Anymore info on him would be great. Thanks Kucinta.

Michael Cremen was born c 1884 Cork according to the military record, no knowing where Michael Crimin of the Royal Garrison Artillery, Labour Corps came from, so don't know how to tell if he is your man.

I posted both as you gave both spellings of the name, and didn't give an approximate birth year.

[2530: 2540-3004 not named] a hill, 1,951 m high, in the South African Republic (Belfast district; Mpumalanga), four kilometres north of Belfast railway station. During the simultaneous attacks on seven garrisons along the Pretoria-Komatipoort railway on 7 January 1901 organised by Asst Cmdt-Gen B.J. Viljoen, Asst Cmdt-Gen C.H. Müller was given the task of attacking the British defensive post on the hill. Manned by 83 men of the 1st The Royal Irish regiment under Capt F.L. Fosberry, the garrison was overwhelmed after a desperate fight in which Fosberry was one of the 40 men killed or wounded. Pte J. Barry, The Royal Irish regiment, was posthumously awarded the Victoria Cross for gallantry in rendering the post's maxim gun useless. The post was re-occupied by the British at dawn.
