Hi! Can anyone help me please, I am looking for military records for the second Dorsetshire regiment in the Boer war. very little can be found and many records have apparently been 'lost'. My Grandfather fought in the Boer war and was then posted to India until approx 1911 where he was returned home sick. he continued in the Army until 1913 when he was demobbed at the age of 38 years. (he lied about his age to get into the army!) |
