Find Living Relatives

I am trying to find my cousin she married Michael John Paul Ward in 1966 (he was a soldier) in Biddulph Staffordshire, they had a son Stephen Paul Ward who i believe became a chef , he was born in 1967 in Shrewsbury. Marion and Michael did get divorced but i dont know when.
I dont know if Marion is still alive, so if anyone has any information please let me know.

Look for names in ‘search all member trees’ and if you find them, send contact message(s)

These boards are used by no more than a handful of people, so the chance of anyone connected seeing your post is virtually zero

Have you done any research? Looking for re-marriages, for instance?

Marriage records her first name as MariAn……..might help with the search

Which parent did the child stay with? If it was the mother then it might be easier to find him - using Electoral Rolls or social media.

The child will now be in his very late 40’s and probably living independently of either parent

I didn’t imply he would still be living with his mother.
If he was brought up by his mother he is likely to know where she is living or what has happened to her.
Much easier to find a man as women change their name through marriage or just to match their partner.

There are numerous listings for men with the name of the son on the ER on FMP, in various areas

Did she have siblings who might know where she is

What about tracing her parents

A roundabout way maybe the way to find her

Was she marion born born 1943 mmn bond ? If so was an only child

The only mariaAn was born 1953 so too young to have married in1966 !

So probably not much help !

But Marion could have been the informant so wouid give her surname at the time

Hamlet died 1973.
Address at that time was 19 Florence Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Phyllis was still at that address until her death.

But that's no help with Marian.

If this is the right family thet went to live in the USA for a time but returned in 1954

With Phyllis and Marion

Hamlet, Phyllis and MariOn left for the states in 1948. Hamlet was 14 years older than Phyllis.
Hamlet is in several trees on Ancestry.

All that info is on a tree on Ancestry.

However, Marian is a private record on that tree.

The tree "owner" is Elizabeth Orme. Does that name mean anything to you, Lesley?
She was active on Ancestry today.

There is a death for a ms Marion Hulland in 2020 ( she could have reverted to her maiden name) in Sheffield BUT her DOB is given as 9/10/43. The Hulland/Bond child was registered in the 3rd quarter not the 4thl
Added and another Marion Ward died 2017 birth @1942.
