Find Living Relatives

looking for any info on relatives of Thomas and Mary Long (nee O Brien/Ryan) form Waterford in Ireland
they had at least 10 children we have details of and one of these is our maternal grandmother Catherine Long, born in 1914
she had no contact with her family as an adult and was known to her family as Kathleen Bartlett - her marriage certificate notes John Bartlett, a Stevedore as her father,
after her death we found her birth certificate naming her as Catherine Long, mother Eliza Long born in Waterford Ireland. still the same date of birth.

we would like to find out about her real family or even the Bartletts who brought her up


any help gratefully received as this has been a puzzle for years

thank you for all the above replies - we do have all the information given already but can't find any mention of relatives since she, Catherine Long, was born. She had no contact at all with any member of her own family and we can only guess that she was brought up outside of her family. we have found her mother Elizabeth and her father William Ryan, and Elizabeth's 9 siblings along with some of their spouses and children but nothing after 1940

what we are hoping for is that someone from her family may know something about the circumstances of her early life and possibly help us to trace living family members.
