if you look on lancashire on line parish clerks site you will find 3 baptisms in 1996
births 1988, 1995, 1993

1911 census - 1 lady - Mary Feathers - in Padiham, Burnley showing in 1911 census - a 68 year old Widow born in Yorkshire. She's a servant

1901 - William H Feathers aged 29 Single b Hapton, Lancs

None in Burnley itself in 1939

There are a few with surname Feather (no S at end) - so is that the spelling you mean?

Look at "Search all member trees", under "Search" at top right of this page, and search for anyone named Feathers, born in Burnley. (Just enter surname and birthplace - there aren't many results.)
There are two people listed who were born within a few years of you, Lisa.
One of them might be the Wendy who is on the ER, as mentioned by Maddie.

Those two people are in the tree of someone named John. (Although if so, he has the wrong birth year for Wendy, who is two years older than he thinks she is, per FreeBMD.)
Click on "Find out more" beside his name, and send a message explaining your interest (assuming they are the people you are looking for).

No guarantees that John will reply, though, for many possible reasons.


The Wendy on the ER (under her maiden name) married in Burnley, and had a son who is listed with her on the ER in 2016.
As the house they were living in at that time has not been sold since then (per Zoopla), they may still be there, and may have just opted out of the public ER.

The info John has on his tree may be inaccurate..
As well as Wendy being two years older than he thinks, he may also be wrong about the Catherine he lists.
There's no such birth on FreeBMD, but there's a Kathleen born in Haslingden who may be the person he means, though also born two years before John thinks she was.
