Thanks for help, ,can you get hold of there marriage certificate anywhere . I have very little information on my dad. They spilt up in the mid seventies haven't heard from them since and I'm 54. Benjamin had no middle name . Born in 1935 but don't where . He had a older sister and she had 2 daughters , Kim and Janet lived in Tunbridge wells . Last time I saw them I was at primary school

5f is the Volume number.
1836 is the Page number.

Had a look on the GRO site

No deaths for the name with no second forename born 1935 from 1985 to 2019.

But.............you need birth year info, which can be deduced from his marriage cert, assuming the info provided is fully accurate
