I contacted Middlesbrough Council to locate my birth mothers grave. They confirmed that she was buried with a Mary Cecilia House who passed away 19/05/1998 at the age of 83. I had made the assumption that this was my birth mothers, mother, and your information would confirm this.

They also provided a name of the person who purchased the grave in 1998, again i made an assumption this maybe my birth mothers brother, as a search showed their mothers maiden name was Loughran. I will PM his name.

If you decide to try to contact ANY of these people, I hope you will think VERY carefully about what you say, as incalculable distress could be caused.

I don’t agree with this type of enquiry on this site. I think all such enquiries should be dealt with only by professionals. Purely my opinion.

But if folks are looking for birth family with some info and I can help with records then can’t see it’s not a help
