Find Living Relatives

Hi all,
I am looking for the whereabouts of an old friend David T Hornett born 1942 in Weymouth. We lived in Croydon in 1960's. David emigrated to US in late 1960's and the last I heard from him was about c1972 when he was living in Reno Nevada. I have written to his sister in London without success. If anybody has access to US records they may be able to help. I know all about his family, I just need to find him if he is still alive.

Do you know what his middle name is?

Unknown. Not married before going to US in about 1966/67.

Do you know his date of birth? Just asking because there is this death (although I realise the surname is slightly different, no middle initial and age out by two years but these things sometimes happen on death records):-
