This is a very long shot, but I am trying to trace anybody who may have know my great grandfather, Frank Ellis born in 1880 and who died in 1951.
He was a file grinder and lived until his death at 7 Winster Road, Sheffield.

Any replies would be very gratefully received.

Look for his name in 'search all member trees' If anyone has him in a GR tree, send a contact message

Are you looking for info on his family , ancestors, etc, or just reminiscences by anyone who actually knew him?

If the latter, follow Erika's advice and "Search all Member Trees" (under "Search" at top right of this page), although that still may only result in family tree info and not personal accounts.

If you would like help with tracing Frank's family tree, please tell us what you know already, to avoid duplication.
