Have you considered employing a Registered Adoption Intermediary? If you do this, check their charges before committing yourself. Some Social Services Post Adoption Teams are willing to help. |

Barbara , if not done already, you could add a 'postem' to Graham's birth reg ( and that of his birth mother if known) on freebmd.org.uk with a contact email address. Along the lines of "family wishing to contact" or similar. |

Advise the family member to add himself to the national adoption contact register - and hope that Graham has done the same. |

On behalf of a family member I am posting here in the hope that Graham can be found. We are aware that he was born on 16th July 1958 weighing 4lbs 1oz and adopted on 17th March 1959. We are also aware that he found his birth mother and introduced himself to her. We believe he is still called Graham. We are not aware of the outcome of the meeting. At the time of his adoption his birth mother was living in Reigate. The adoption took place through the Church Adoption Society. His mothers other son would dearly love to make contact with him now that he has become aware of his existence. Any information would be gratefully received so that I can pass it on. Thankyou. |
