I know for sure that Maria Emma Jane Watkins (maiden name Wigg) died in 1950. She was hit by a car at the Lighthouse crossing Mark house Road Walthamstow. The driver never stopped.

Hi Everyone,

Can anybody please help me to find the marriage of John Watkins born c1919 West Ham.
I did find a marriage to a Rosetta L Hannaford Sept 1939 West Ham. Another relative of mine seems to think this is not correct.

John Watkins is the son of Maria Emma Wigg who married George Edwin Watkins 0n 22/12/1901 at St Saviours Walthamstow.
Maria Emma Jane was my grandmothers sister and known to the family as Aunt Polly.
If anyone can help I would be very grateful.
