yes i did, i found out a lot i didn't know before:
This information is as of 8 December 1947 so my grandfather is now 14 and has lived his life in a nearby orphanage:
John Watson and wife Mary (adoptive grandparents) lived at 26 whittington street, he was a retired labourer, and they lived with their two children charlie and Mary. (already knew this)
this was the very first time i found out something personal apparently William Brady
"Deserted wife five years prior to birth and has not cohabited since" so shes left with Hugh and Mary.
There was actually a permission slip in the file and it was signed by Annie mckillop herself.
i did not expect that and i dont know if it makes the situation better or worse, i felt weird when i saw it almost happy since now i knew she wasn't a ghost.
she was living at 62 Shakespeare street,roath,Cardiff,wales.

Its been a long time since ive posted to this, for anyone still interested i haven't given up on the case, every day i look through my DNA matches on various sites,old maps of the scene of the crime, and old newspapers to try and figure out a connection where everything could make sense, heres a summary of my situation:
Annie mckillop married William Brady on 16 April 1926, with him he had two children who were born at either sunnyside cottage or cottages:
Hugh Brady who married Moira Paterson,they had three children Anne,martin and Paul
Mary Elizabeth Brady who married Thomas o'kane and had peter o'kane
William left their family sometime around 1928 and between 1926 to 1933 Annie moved to 1 lefroy street where she gave birth to my grandfather Thomas Watson or Thomas Joseph Brady.
i was contacted by a match on my heritage that said that a lead might be through the mcmichael family of Daniel mcmichael and Mary mcclement (1834-1913) whos children migrated to Scotland, this match thinks that the man could be an ancestor of a child of theirs or maybe a grandchild.
If anybody has ANY information on this situation please leave a reply.

It’s been a while since I’ve come back to this,
I’m still looking, I asked the national records of Scotland but they told me that I would need to petition Airdrie sheriff court for answers(thats the nearest sheriff court to my location) so that’s what I’ve been doing, I’ve sent them two e-mails but I haven’t got an answer yet so I guess I’ll just keep waiting,I have no idea what I’ll do if the thing ends up in court but hopefully it won’t get that way.

ArgyllGran's research has unearthed that a man by the name of William H Angus was living at 1 Lefroy Street,Old Monkland in 1935

William Hogarth Angus married Mary Mckillop in Coatbribge in 1925.

Mary is listed as one of Annie's sisters in the 1911 Census.

Mary Angus died in 1972 in Coatbridge.

Perhaps buying a copy of Mary's death certificate would help in your search as it will give the name of the person who registered the death and their relationship to Mary.

This may narrow your research as I would presume that the person who registered the death is still alive.

where did you get the valuation roll for the house? thats exactly the kind of information ive been looking for. we can narrow the search by time because conception occurred in June 1932,we can narrow it down because the name wasn't on the certificate maybe just because he wasn't there at the birth so he could have been living at a different house,Kennedy lives at 11 lefroy street so thats suspect, but then thats two years after the birth so were assuming that he stayed there for a while after the birth and that is if nothing suspicious happened. I notice inglis was there for all of that time period so thats suspect but i doubt whether Ann would be staying with the man who she was having his baby and he was the proprietor and i know that dosnt mean anything but i think that proprietors always try to be more respectable if they can help it.

My suggestion is that you now get a copy of the 1911 Census.

There are two people listed in the Coatbridge Area under the name of Annie McKillop living there in 1911

One is aged 9 years of age and the other is aged 36 years of age in 1911

It is most probable that the 9 year old could possibly be your grandfather's mother.

The 1911 Census will give you information as to the parents of Annie Mckillop and if she had any siblings

I have used the Census Records previously with a fair bit of success.

It is worth a try.

The father on the birth certificate was left blank so i really have absolutely nothing to go on but an address 1 Lefroy street and a profile.
im going with the theory that he was a male, younger than 50 because of fertility problems after that age,lightish skin because i dont have any African or Caribbean ancestry so he probably wasn't black and lived in the surrounding area.
Annie was a spirit salesperson so maybe she met him while selling alcohol?
the genealogist said that it was "unlikely that we could find this out now" but i wont give up.
1 lefroy street was where my grandpa was born apparently.

Have just checked - the 1933 Coatbridge McKillop birth is also registered under the name Brady.

As this does seem to be your deceased grandfather, it should be safe enough to post the birth details now:

Is that from the Coatbridge 1933 birth cert?
If so, and the birth was registered as McKillop even though the mother was married to Brady, then the child was obviously not Mr Brady's child.

EDIT:
No, it can't be from the birth cert - that wouldn't give mother's DOB.
Do you mean that this is what the researcher found - maybe from adoption records ??

the results came back
apparently the woman was Annie mckillop born 18 June 1901 at 2b jackson street in coatbridge, she was married to William Brady but theres something telling me that he wasn't the man who created my grandpa or maybe im just paranoid.

Thank you to everyone who shows an interest in my thread,i have hired a professional to look into it but he hasn't come back with the results yet, this June will have been six months. :-\
