	Anne it's unlikely that either will see this unless they are members here, have you searched trees? Both names feature but as you don't give any details on birth year or area I can't tell if they are relevant.

	If they were adopted then you would need to know their new names Have you looked in members trees to see if anyone has them listed

	It would still help to know roughly when they were born. If they were likely to have married before 2006, we might be able to identify them if they both live or married in the same area.

	Think they were born in 1969 and 1971 respectively, if Anne's father was also their father. Depending on their year of adoption, would they have kept their birth christian names? It looks as though Anne believes, or knows, so.

	Bit lost here, which parent is the parent of the girls? marriage as far as I can see 1969 of the couple in Anne's tree...Kight/Smith?

	Anne, are you aware of the Adoption Contact Register? https://www.gov.uk/adoption-records/the-adoption-contact-register If you’re sure they were adopted, add your name & theirs to it. The system will automatically link you should they be aware of your shared parent or your existence & are looking for birth family. There’s a further link on the page about Intermediary Agencies. They would attempt to trace the girls &, with their permission, pass on contact details. There would be a fee. Enquire about that before hiring anyone.
