On marriage cert ,Joseph is down as a Miner.
They married in the Parish Church in Northop in 1851
The Battersea death is right.
Also the witness on cert is a John and Miriam Jones.
My problem is trying to prove if they are her parents without having to buy loads of birth certs until I find the one with a mother of Edwards

Harriet Hansell in the 1871 posted by Shirley, and listed as "stepdaughter", born Longton, Staffs, was an orphan in 1851.
It looks as if she's a grand-daughter of Elizabeth Wainwright, and step-grand-daughter of John Wainwright:

Where did she marry. Have you found her on any census after she married

Trying to prove the parents of Ann Jones from Northop Flintshire. I have her Marriage certificate, to George Smith in 1877. her death in Battersea in 1932.
Have looked through the census for 1861,1871, knowing she had a sister called Mary and the fact she called her eldest Daughter Harriett. Going on this I have come up with parents of Joseph and Harriet , but no real proof. Any ideas would be very welcome.
