Although there a number of Saxby births in Portsmouth after 1955, none are double entered under their mother’s maiden name. That would be the case if the parents weren’t married to each other & the biological father acknowledged paternity.

Other than checking out the informant on his DC, the only thing you can do is add him to your tree & Search other trees on here.

A distant cousin is in the same situation. Her father was a ‘Ladies Man’ while still married to her mother. She wouldn’t be at all surprised if a half sibling came knocking on her door!

Thanks for all the help but I have a lot of this information already. I'm trying to contact anyone who might be alive today who is related to him after about 1954. He was my father but he divorced my mother and returned to Portsmouth in about 1955. I have always wondered if he had a second family.
