this is so weird as the previuos posts suggest he emigrated from America which is what I was led to believe from my grandmother...however this census says 1901 bot the ship record of him emigrating from America says 1908 ???

Yes she should have been Dorman as on the birth certs for the children, BUT there is no sign of a marriage to Bert. so if she left she would possibly use the name Price? There seems to be no other record for her as Daisy Dorman?
Did Frances travel to Canada I wonder?

Hi No France's was my grandma...she didn't go to Canada....her mum Daisy Price left her and her 2 brothers when they were very young...she moved in with the local tattooist and had another baby but had no contact with my gran and her brothers...my gran was sent away not long after and she had a terrible life...she also never saw her brothers again :-( I just wanted to find any living relatives of her brothers to see if they knew she existed

Ok just wondered if Frances had visited, not actually emigrated.
So the only possibility left then is to try and trace what happened to Bert Harrison Dorman in Canada.

Daisy’s maiden name was Price, according to the birth registrations of her children
Therefore, if she married at any stage, that should have been the name she used
The marriage in 1916 posted above was of a Daisy PRICE and in the area where she was allegedly born, so could be worth investigating.
